smelt.tips¶

Availability: Terminal UI only; raises in headless mode.

Discovery tips shown in the prompt bar and banner. smelt.tips.register(tip) adds or replaces a prompt tip by id; smelt.settings.show_tips = false hides all tips. UiHost-only.

smelt.tips.enabled¶

Whether tips are shown (smelt.settings.show_tips).

smelt.tips.list¶

The registered prompt tips, in registration order.

smelt.tips.register¶

fun(tip: smelt.tips.Tip): smelt.tips.Tip

Types: smelt.tips.Tip

Register a prompt tip, or replace the tip with the same id. Returns the tip as stored. Raises when id or text is not a non-empty string.
